Travelling information Arriving by car To get to the Hotel Altes Fährhaus Spandau in Berlin by car, it can be helpful to know the main routes from the respective cardinal points: Travelling from the north: Follow the A24 motorway in the direction of Berlin. At the Havelland motorway junction, change to the A10 (Berliner Ring) heading west. Take the exit in the direction of B5/Berlin-Spandau. Follow the B5 in the direction of Spandau. Turn onto Pichelsdorfer Straße and follow the signs to Aalemannufer. Travelling from the west: Use the A2 motorway in the direction of Berlin, which becomes the A10 (Berliner Ring). At the Werder junction, take the A10 northbound. Take the Berlin-Spandau exit to get onto the B5. Follow the B5 in the direction of Spandau. Turn onto Pichelsdorfer Straße and follow the signs to Aalemannufer. Travelling from the south: Take the A9 motorway in the direction of Berlin. At the Potsdam junction, take the A10 (Berliner Ring) heading north. Change to the A115 motorway in the direction of Berlin-Zentrum. Continue on the B2/B5 through the city until you reach Spandau. Follow the local roads to Aalemannufer. It is always advisable to check the current traffic situation, as there may be traffic jams on the routes mentioned. A GPS or an up-to-date navigation app can be very helpful here. Arrival by train To reach the Hotel Altes Fährhaus Spandau by train, you could proceed as follows: Travelling from Berlin Central Station: Take the S-Bahn line S3 or S9 in the direction of Spandau. Get off at Berlin-Spandau station. From Berlin-Spandau station to the hotel: Leave the station and take a bus from the Spandau bus stop (in front of the station), for example line 136 in the direction of Hakenfelde, Aalemannufer. Get off at the Aalemannufer stop. From there it is only a few minutes' walk to the hotel. Alternative connections: Regional trains (RE and RB) also run between Berlin Hauptbahnhof and Berlin-Spandau and offer a fast connection. It is advisable to check the current Deutsche Bahn or Verkehrsverbund Berlin-Brandenburg (VBB) timetable before travelling to find the best connections and departure times.
